EU Regulation 2022/1322 on the list of products subject to inspection at border crossings

On July 25, 2022, the EU issued Implementing Regulation No. 2022/1322.

This Regulation amends Implementing Regulation No. 2021/632 (*) relating to the list of products of animal origin including livestock, poultry, fishery products, by-products thereof and mixed products subject to official controls at border checkpoints.

The above regulation takes effect from August 29, 2022.

Note:

(*)Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/632 of 13/4/2021 (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/en/ALL/?uri=CELEX:32021R0632) sets out the rules for applying Regulation (EU) 2017/625 of the European Parliament and Council relating to the list of animals and products of animal origin. Embryo products, animal by-products, mixed products, hay and straw are subject to official controls at border checkpoints.
